RING SAFETY AND ETIQUETTE
- Keep at least one horse length away from other horses at all times.
- No jumping in indoor arena unless you are alone or having a lesson. Anyone under the age of 18 cannot jump unsupervised
- Do not pass other horses on outside against the rail
- If cooling the horse or walking on loose rein, take the inner track
- If you are performing figures,look in the intended direction. Not only will you ride more accurately, you will avoid running into other horse, and other riders will be able to see where you intend to go.
- If another rider is in trouble, STOP IMMEDIATELY, make you way to center of arena and wait until situation is under control.
- When finished riding, leave the ring, if you want to watch, please stand outside of the ring and observe.
- Close the gate or door when you enter or leave the ring.
- More advanced riders should keep an eye out for beginner riders, they are not as experienced. Beginners must however: learn, know, and follow etiquette rules.
- The rings are not to be used for racing purpose
